Hudson Valley Plantation is a story map project about a cemetery of enslaved Africans and African Americans in Marlboro, New York. The cemetery was “discovered” using old deeds, maps and math rather than archeology. Without physical evidence, AI can help us visualize the graveyard and the harsh work environment of the people buried there.
